Celestial Orbs
My work titled, Celestial Orbs, feature five round shapes (orbs) made of laminated exterior grade plywood with deep "swirls" sculpted into the material that gives the surface movement and holes cut, off center, through the shapes to further suggest their "galactic" qualities. The five round orbs are held in space by a metal sculpture that features a base made of rebar connected to a thick rebar center rod that is then connected to three spires that encircle it at it's top.

Description of Artwork
My work is abstract in style that combine natural and manufactured materials that are often reclaimed/repurposed, presented in a more totemic composition that feature lyrical movement around the sculptures.
